Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analyses were performed for an ar-mored tank engine compartment cooling flow. Large hybrid unstructuredmeshes (2.5-3.0x10 6 cells) were constructed using the ICEM-CFD grid generator. The flow and convective heat transfer field were computed using an in-house CFD code, NPHASE. The commercial software package,RAD THERM was utilized to incorporate radiation heat transfer within the simulations.
